Since the appearance of the Messiah 2000 years ago: there have been some changes to scriptural meanings, and additional doctrines have been taught by man. The early, and later translators of the Bible into English, took license with their work, and did some editing on their own.
They changed the Hebrew titles/names of the Creator to god. It is a Germanic, Indo European name, meaning “invoked one.” This form is also used in ancient Hindu scriptures “much invoked" (Webster’s) “ To call forth by incantations” (Magic spells). Readers Digest word finder, Pg. 351 (1975) The majority of demonic deities are referred to, as god. satan himself is called the god of this world. (2 Corinthians 4:4) satan said “ I will ascend into heaven, to exalt my throne above the stars of Elohim; I will be like the Most High.” (Isaiah 14:13,14) satan even wanted the Messiah to fall down and worship Him. (Matthew 4:9) As you can see, satan wanted to be equal, and even more so, than our Creator.
In the Old Testament, our Creator’s name/titles are listed as Elohim and Yahweh over 3 thousand times, and 1000+ of Theos in the New Testament. They were changed to the name god, which is a non descriptive name, that has no title or meaning consistent with the Bible. Figure that one out.
Did satan have his hand in it ? First of all, he is the prince of the power of the air (Ephesians 2:2) Strongs’s Bible Concordance lists prince, as first in rank or power, ruler, magistrate. he has all power and signs of lying wonders. (2 Thesalonians 2:9) he takes us captive at his will. (2 Timothy 2:26) You can see that he is capable of his input.
It is probable that satan put it into the minds of the translators, to insert a generic name "god" so that both he and our Creator would be known by it. he would have equal status by name, with Elohim in the Bible. One thought is, they saved time writting only 3 letters.
So here is the devastating news, you may be praying to satan and other demonic deities when you use the name god. he has always wanted to be worshiped, and he has gotten his wish. By the way, the name god was never Sanctified, blessed, or made Holy.
I didn’t want to fire both barrels at once, like a shot gun, but here it is. The name Jesus is a Greek and Latin combination, and has changed over time. In the 1611 Bible edition, Jesus is translated as Iesus, and in earlier writings, as Isous. You can find this on the web, Origin of the name Jesus.
The Bible translators fabricated the name Jesus, and put it in place of Yahshua. “There is No other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12) Ask yourself, by what authority do translators have in changing the names of Yahshua and Elohim? Absolutely no authority what so ever.
The Old Testament was in Hebrew, in the New Testament, Paul spoke to the populous in Hebrew. (Acts 21:40) The Messiah spoke to Paul in Hebrew, when he was traveling to Damascus. (Acts 26:14) When Paul asked, “who Are you”? Since He was Hebrew born, He said Yahshua, and not Jesus. The proper titles, shows reverence to our Creator. “For His Greatness is unsearchable “ (Psalm 145:1-3) (Psalm 113:1-3) Does the name god say who it is, have an impact, like these Holy Names do ?
The translators have changed the Bible language into English, which was necessary for us to understand it. They changed the names of the common people into English for the ease of reading. The Co- Creators of the Universe are not common people, and Their Names are not common, but are Holy. If this is being legalistic to please our Creator, so be it.
It is important not to call Yahshua or Elohim by a pagan, Greek, or fabricated names. None of them are: Holy, Sanctified, Glorified, Wonderful, Blessed, Exalted, or Excellent, as His Names. “ Elohim will Sanctify His Great Name, which has been profaned among the nations.”(Ezekiel 36 :23) Here's a question; What will you call Elohim, when you stand before Him at the resurrection?
Comments By James
There are so many ways to please Elohim and I often wonder if we think of ways. There many ways not to please Elohim, and you could call that sin. I think we are more used to that, than the pleasing part. I believe that if we were more into Bible study and prayer that we would find of more ways to please our Elohim.
The Bible says that the gospel will be preached and published throughout the world and then the end will come. Some say that the gospel has already been preached throughout the world. I don't believe that the true gospel has been preached throughout the world.
The main stream Christian church has taken some of the Bible doctrines out and has put some of their's in. The main stream church will have to start preaching the true gospel before things can happen.
Let not mercy and truth forsake you bind them around your neck and write them on the tablet of your heart and so find favor and high esteem in the sight of Elohim and man.
Trust in Elohim with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes. Fear Elohim and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh and strength through your bones.

Holy Names Praise the name of Elohim. Blessed be the name of Elohim for ever more. From the rising, to the setting of the The sun, Elohim's Name is to be praised. (Psalm 113:1,2) We should not have to use the names translators gave us. They have no authority to do so.
